电液密度计(旧称电液比重计)是测量电池内电液密度用的仪表。它是用一根直径为30mm、长约300mm的玻璃圆筒制成,筒的下边装有胶皮嘴,上端装有橡皮球。玻璃圆筒内装有浮子,浮子上刻有1.10~1.50g/mL的密度读数。

适用方法:

先取下蓄电池上的加液孔盖,然后将密度计下端放入蓄电池内,手捏密度计上端橡皮球,慢慢放松橡皮球,把电液吸入玻璃管,使浮子浮起,通过浮子上浮位置即可读出读数,观察视线应与液面取平。
